Grooming and Trimming

The Bedlington Terrier requires daily grooming and is not a task taken upon lightly. like most breeds grooming is

essential for keeping animals in good condition , but , the Bedlington also has to have its coat trimmed about

every 6 to 8 weeks. Ears also have to be regularly cleaned to stop them blocking with hairs and then causing

"runny eyes " and ear infections.

The dogs you may have seen at shows may have taken many hours of work trimming to obtain the results you

can see.

But believe me what looks like a chore each day actually becomes a pleasure , a type of bonding between you and

your Bedlington.

Still with us..........good

TRIMMING

Bedlington Terrier trimming is a art form that can take many many years to perfect. Each trimmer having their own

little touches and techniques , but , having said that for pet owners not in the show ring a pet trim is quite easy to

pick up .
