Grooming and Trimming |
| The Bedlington Terrier requires daily grooming and is not a task taken upon lightly. like most breeds grooming is essential for keeping animals in good condition , but , the Bedlington also has to have its coat trimmed about every 6 to 8 weeks. Ears also have to be regularly cleaned to stop them blocking with hairs and then causing "runny eyes " and ear infections. |

The dogs you may have seen at shows may have taken many hours of work trimming to obtain the results you can see. But believe me what looks like a chore each day actually becomes a pleasure , a type of bonding between you and your Bedlington. Still with us..........good

| Bedlington Terrier trimming is a art form that can take many many years to perfect. Each trimmer having their own little touches and techniques , but , having said that for pet owners not in the show ring a pet trim is quite easy to pick up . |
